Oh. My. Goodness. GET THE FISH AND CHIPS!!! They will be the BEST fish and chips you EVER have! The fish was light noticeably fresh... cooked to perfection. HUGE portions too. Special shout-out to our fabulous waiter, Phil. Talk about someone who can read their customer! Pop in for a visit.. you’ll know what I mean. Thanks for a 5 star meal with 5 star service!
Wow what a great gem! By far #1 fish cakes, wanted fish was gonna order my regular go to Haddock, waiter, who let me say is one of the best, convinced us to try Cod. He was confident, id love it or free. It was the best and freshest fish I've had since being on the Island. I choice Ceasars salad with my fish. To start we had onion rings and fish cakes. Our server should be a stand up comedian, he has the greatest personalities we have had the pleasure of since moving here. Will definately be back.
We at some great food here. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Phil, working front of house, made us feel welcome and helped us with our food choices. We shared; 1/2 lb mussels in spicy sauce 1 piece haddock and chips Fish tacos All were perfectly cooked, presented and tasted amazing. Would most definitely eat here again.
Last summer, I visited this restaurant once while traveling and felt it had a great atmosphere as I passed by. The staff were very friendly, and the fried fish was delicious. This year, I came again, and the fried fish at this restaurant is really delicious!
Amazing fish and chips, the halibut was absolutely delicious. The server (owner?) was super cheeky and I had a good time. Good beer too!
The food was on point and so tasty. The atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. It makes me sad that I don't live there so I could make it my regular place. If you are visiting for the Canada Games, make sure you visit before leaving.
The most amazing fish and chips in town! We stumbled upon this restaurant one evening and it was fate that we did. Not only was our meal 5 stars but the service is out of this world! Phil is by far, the most entertaining server we’ve ever had. So many laughs throughout the evening, if he doesn’t do standup comedy, he should! Highly recommend this spot!
Delicious food, reasonable price and great waitresses. We stopped in the afternoon and had coffee and left a less mobile member of our party there while we walked around the downtown. Very helpful and friendly waitress then and the one that took over when we came back for supper was also very helpful. Went back 5 years later and it is still very good. Excellent Chowder and very good Sole.
